Easter
Well, it was a wonderful weekend and very busy. Saturday, I photographed twins! Twin babies I might add! After that, I had last minute things to get, and had forgot through the week to take Ean to see the Easter bunny. Yes, he still believes, and I treasure that! After 7 in the evening, we were out swinging on "our favorite tree" and he remembered! So, he begs, can we go see the Easter bunny? Well, exhausted, I get the bright idea, "Hey, Mommy can email him!" And Ean was happy! (the Easter bunny at the mall freaks me out anyway!, so I was happy!):) Here is Ean on the swing, and the eggs we had to leave out with a note.....Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! By the way, can you tell it was final four night too? We even left out a WVU egg for the bunny! :)

Proud Mom!
This past winter, Mica has been privileged enough to be recruited to an All-Star Soccer Team! No, I don't normally take sports pics, sports are nights and weekends, and I'm a Mom! Nights and weekends (without weddings) are dedicated to family! But, I am a PROUD MAMA, so I am sharing! Mica's team won two awesome tournaments! Yeah! This has some cool video to it too, especially in the end, of course, but I'm biased. This was the most INTENSE GAME! Congrats Girls!

Tammy + Jay, Again!
Something special about renewal of vows. Committed to each other, 100% plus! To have the spark and the love for each other, as I saw a little over a week ago, tested through 10 years already, and it seems like 10 years only added to the love. Congrats, Congrats! I love their children in these pictures, too! Actually, the highlights below, really show why these pictures are so special!

The Innocent
I really do miss those baby stages. The cuddling, the innocent, Bear in the Big Blue House. Nowadays, Percy Jackson and his underworld adventures, music, and sports have taken over. I love seeing my kids grow and do new things, and I love to still capture the innocent.......Here is Mica.....

If anyone has emailed me Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday of this week and I have not responded to you, it's because I did not get the email. I was out of town for a photography conference and Time Warner Cable/Roadrunner quarantined my modem at my business, stating suspicious activity. I had no idea it was shut down. Needless to say, it is all resolved now. Please contact me if you have not heard from me and was looking for a response.
Thank You!
P.S. Cant wait to share some Vegas photos!

A Wedding; Elegance at Home
Had a wonderful time photographing Julie and Ryan in their home this February. With their children, family and friends, they gathered together and united as one. A beautiful ceremony in their home. I just love the elegance and the simplicity.....It was a beautiful day.....

The Wedding Dress!
Here is a Fun Fact about Wedding Dresses, with pictures from three different weddings I shot! I am so amazed how beautiful a dress can be, on and off! ;)
"Traditionally, brides did not wear white wedding gowns. Through the 18th century, most brides just wore their Sunday best to their wedding. Red was a favorite during the Middle Ages in Europe. Other colors were worn for symbolic reasons: blue meant constancy and green meant youth. As years passed, white was worn as a symbol of purity. Today, white merely symbolizes the wedding and is worn by any bride."

Fun Wedding Fact: "The Cake"
The next several days I will be blogging about some fun wedding facts I found! What a Hoot! I'm so glad we have come along way since the Ancient Romans! I found this fun fact about wedding cakes!
"The wedding cake has always played an important part in the wedding. Ancient Romans broke a cake over the bride's head to symbolize fertility or abundance. Many other cultures dropped wheat, flour or cake on the bride's head, and then ate the crumbs for good luck. The early British baked baskets of dry crackers, and every guest took one home after the wedding. In medieval times, guests brought small cakes and piled them on a table. The bride and groom then attempted to kiss over the cakes. Eventually, a young baker decided to put all the cakes together and cover them with frosting, thus the tiered wedding cake was born."
