Wedding Flowers

I have fallen in love with the magazine "Real Simple"! I was crus'in through their website and came across tips for flowers at your wedding, from yes, the supermarket! I have been at this business for a long time, and yes, I know brides that have done this, and their bouquets were absolutely beautiful!

I hope you find this useful! The prettiest flowers I have seen were very simple, and looked like you could do yourself very easy with the green tape, ribbon and button pins!

Other....

Well, I have survived last week. My main computer crashed on Monday! Thank goodness, I am "obsessive compulsive" in this department and have triple back up! Two on external hard drives, and one online, just in case!

I thought I would share about my online backup. Everyone should have this! For $5 a month, www.backblaze.com backs up your computer and you don't even have to think about it. It does it automatically and here is the best part, IT DOES NOT SLOW DOWN YOUR COMPUTER! For everyone, we all have cameras, and pictures of our families, etc. Should a major disaster hit one's home, this is a blessing! Buy it today, and sacrifice a coffee or two in a month. It's worth it!

The trick to this backup is to make your own "My Pictures" folder, or any other folder and store it right on your C: drive. It will not back up things on the operating system, so don't use your computers "My Pictures" folder, etc. Make your own on the C: drive and you can't loose!

TIP ABOUT MAILING PHOTOS

Saw this tip about mailing photos, so I thought I would share!

Take the keeper of light bulbs and flatten it. Slide your photos of loved ones in it, place in envelope and send to other loved ones! Wrinkle-free photos mailed safely!

I love fall and the best part of it is that Senior pictures happen in the fall, but this year, I have pick up so many new seniors wanting to get them done in August and the calendar is filling up from now till December!

Lori + Jason + Harley!

I had a blast with Lori and Jason down at Valley Falls! What a fun couple and so much into each other and the love shows it! They will wed this fall and I am so looking forward to their fun wedding!



We had the opportunity to bring out the Harley on the rocks! Made Jason a "little" nervous, but it was worth it! ;)

I really did have the best time photographing this wedding. Nick and Danielle are just so happy and the two of them just feed off of each other and I really love watching and capturing this! They also gave me freedom to let me do my thing, no lists, no instructions, just pure confidence in my work and abilities. I can not stress how this just frees up my mind so I can just be creative!

At the reception, we found a Harley and just had to have fun with it!





This is one my favorites of the day. This is Harry, Father of the Groom. He captured the time on his watch of the minute his son's new bride walked down the isle. I love things like this!

I am looking for a girl, a junior last year/senior to be or a senior this past year who has graduated 2009. I am also looking for a gentleman at the same age/high school year requirements who are willing as well to trash their tux/suit.

What you will get? Free Session! Not only is session waived, but you will receive a $250 print credit to be used on any photo taken as well as a CD of the files (low res) for your email, screensavers, and social networking sites such as facebook and myspace applications. Total Value at $500!

Senior Pics of Golfer Ben!

Ben is an amazing golfer so we kept him in his own environment. I love love love these golf pics! The sky could not be any blue-er with fabulous greens! And Ben is cute too! ;)

And this one is for Mom. Ben did not need a yearbook picture, but Mom wanted him in his suit and tie. I suggested a natural light portrait instead of studio lights and backdrop. I love natural light!
